Make the most of your video interview

  • Read up on the company so you can demonstrate you are proactive

  • Choose a clear, clean professional looking background so the focus is on you
  • Make sure the lighting is good and your face can clearly be seen.  Ensure the camera/phone is still and steady
  • Make sure you won’t be disturbed by noise or your phone
  • Practise your answers so they flow and answer the question concisely
  • Show your enthusiasm!
  • Make sure you highlight how your skills and experience would benefit the company
  • Give key examples of how you have shown these skills before
  • Smile and thank the company for their time in considering you.
