Temp of the Month December 2022

Alex is our Temp of the Month!

Temp of the Month

December’s award goes to Alex.

I am delighted to announce that our Octopus Temp of the Month for December is Alex.

When it came to deciding who to award December’s Temp of the Month, it was a no-brainer.

When I met with Alex, I knew instantly he would be a great candidate for one of our longest standing clients. And, I was so right!

Alex made a great first impression with managers and colleagues alike and he was an instant hit. His managers raved about how well he worked with the team, he made great relationships, worked really hard, and carried out his tasks well. In fact, Alex has proved himself to be such an asset that our client has wasted no time in snapping him up and offered him a permanent contract to work for them.

Another right job for the right person!

Congratulations Alex and all the best in your new role.

Could you be the next Temp of the Month?

We are extremely proud of our temporary workers, all of whom we expect to be hardworking and reliable. Each month we invite our clients and staff in the office to nominate any temp who has gone above and beyond or exceeded their expectations in some way. Out of these, we choose one winner, giving them £20 worth of vouchers to recognise their contribution and say thank you!

We publish our winners in the office, on social media and here.

About the author

I’m on hand for our industrial and hospitality recruitment here at Octopus – think warehousing, production, construction, kitchen and technical type jobs. I also run our seasonal event work – this is a great option for those wanting to earn some extra money without commitment.

I really enjoy meeting our job hunters and helping them to find work. It’s been lovely to talk to local people and find out what matters to them.
