Nanny and Housekeeper

We are currently seeking a part-time weekend Nanny & Housekeeper to assist a busy family residing between Lymington in Hampshire and London. The role includes comfortable live-in accommodation and travel opportunities.

You will arrive at 5pm on Thursdays and finish at 8.30pm on Sundays. Accommodation will be provided, and occasional travel with the family, as well as the option to stay at the family’s London residence during breaks, will be available.

What you’ll do

As the Nanny & Housekeeper, your daily tasks will revolve around tending to the children (aged 6 and 10) and maintaining a pleasant living environment.

Key childcare and housekeeping duties include:

  • Light cleaning
  • Laundry
  • Cooking meals for the family
  • Grocery shopping
  • Preparing school uniforms for the children
  • Assisting with home organisation
  • School drop-offs and pickups
  • Childcare and homework assistance
  • Engaging in enjoyable activities with the children

Skills and experience

You will have a proven track record of working with families and children, possess a strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability. A valid First Aid certificate and DBS check are mandatory for this role.

Accommodation will be provided, and occasional travel with the family, as well as the option to stay at the family’s London residence during breaks, will be available.

We are searching for a part time Receptionist Administrator in Gillingham, Dorset.

What you will do as Receptionist Administrator

You will be the first point of contact for members of the public, colleagues, and external organisations. You will support the team in admin, diary management and events.

  • Deliver excellent customer service by providing appropriate information, advice, guidance, and support in a professional and timely manner.
  • Run the reception and provide general administrative support. This includes assisting visitors, responding to emails, telephone calls, opening post, ordering stationery, and preparing documentation.
  • Update website and social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with organisations, agencies, volunteer/interest groups and local authorities.
  • Take room hire bookings, maintain accurate records, and liaise with hirers.
  • Support the team with secretarial services, diary management, event organisation, and attendance.

What you will receive.

This is a permanent part time position for 20 hours per week with an immediate start. The working hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 1pm.

Staff benefits include 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and two days at Christmas pro rata, and a generous pension scheme. Your pro rata salary is £14,042 per year.

Skills and experience.

You will need a good level of written and verbal communication skills, IT skills in Microsoft applications and social media, and excellent customer service skills.
