We are searching for a Buyer to join an innovative manufacturing company close to Mere in Wiltshire. The company is in a lovely village on the Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire border, just off the A303 and within reach from Yeovil, Warminster, and Gillingham directions.

Assisting the Purchasing Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of the procurement function.

You will be responsible for new supplier approval and negotiations, budget management, purchase orders and stock management. You will build good relationships with your suppliers and internal departments, communicating well with stakeholders at each stage of the buying process to identify and manage any potential deviations from the schedule.

We are looking for a strong communicator with excellent time and task management skills. You will need to have fantastic attention to detail, and an eye for cost savings and efficiency. Experience of MRP or another inventory management system is an advantage.
