Your experience working within similar roles will be invaluable as you will quickly progress to supporting the Chief Account in all aspects of running  the accounts department, including:

  • Data input
  • Ensuring financial compliance including all financial audits
  • Cash flow management
  • The production of management information used in the running of the business
  • A contribution to continuously improving the accounting systems both for reporting, efficiency, audit and data security reasons

You will be flexible in your approach, able to adapt to all aspects of an Accounts Department from data input to production of management accounts and data analysis.  You will hold excellent computer literacy, have an understanding of the PAYE system, and be confident with accounting software and spreadsheets.  You should have experience working within an accounts department, with credit control and, ideally, SAGE payroll software.

This is a fantastic opportunity for career development as full training will be provided, including accounting qualifications progression.   With your current accounting experience and qualifications, this role will provide an excellent base for continuous improvement and advancement within the role and company.

The successful candidate will be reliable, meticulous, with excellent attention to detail.  You will have strong organisational skills and be a confident oral and written communicator.  You will have the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines.  You will be reliable, discreet, honest, committed and keen to drive your own career forward through experience and qualification.

Our client values a commitment to continuous improvement, and is looking for a motivated and dynamic candidate, with a ‘Can Do’ attitude and a genuine interest in the way businesses work, expand and develop.

If you are at least half way through AAT qualification or equivalent at ACCA / CIMA, have knowledge of accounting at least up to trial balance stage and 2/3 years’ experience working in accounting, this could be the role for you.

Starting Salary will be in line with current experience and qualifications at £22,000, rising to £24,000 after a successful 6 month probationary period.
